BSc and MSc Degree Programmes
The development of the publishing industry in Bulgaria called for staff training in graphic design and printing. Prepress and printing of all newspapers, periodicals, books, advertising materials, etc. requires modern training of operational, managerial and executive level specialists in the field.
These are the first degree programmes ever offered in a Bulgarian university. Before its establishment specialists in printing were educated only abroad - in Russia, Germany, etc.
The programme aims at preparing operational and managerial staff in the design, construction, technology, manufacturing, testing, installation, diagnosing and maintenance of printing equipment.
Graduates in this major have thorough knowledge in the field of graphic design and prepress of materials (text, image and graphic objects processing).
